Read an article on SHAPE magazine on "sadness survival" and got to know a lil more bout depression.

It writes dat "normal grief can be pegged to a 6-month time limit. That's because half a year is about the time one takes to go thru the emotional rollercoaster ride."

"they found a pattern in the grieving process. The first was a dip in disbelief...this was followed by a peak in yearning ...at 4 months. Then, anger took over 5 months after the loss...researchers found dat if negative emotions persist after 6 months, it reflects a more-difficult-than-average ability to adjust to the loss."

The article did suggest a few ways to get thru the problem - "nipping depression in the bud". Generally, a thorough coverage of the problem and possible solutions.
