I've finally wrote in to MOE to extend my contract, after much ponders and thots.

This is to give myself more time to explore teaching as a career before officially stepping into it. I have been very concious of my emotions and behavious lately..on how I respond to certain issues in school, how I react to certain students in school and finally asking myself the question..am i ready to embark on this career where sometimes I get migraine after a few lessons in the morning, thou im alwaz very excited and glad to see my kids in the morning haa.

I realised dat at times, I become q bo chup about things and nv exactly mk the effort to listen to my students. Like just "heck it" but i realised in teaching, my attitude is nt right.

And my level of maturity doesnt seem to tally with dat of a teacher. To be a mentor, I believe it also takes a certain level of maturity so dat Im able to "educate" these students of the right etiquette.

I guess everything has its pros and cons. But whether one outweighs the other, I believe only after trying out, will I be able to gauge. Since Im still young (haha!), maybe I shld just give myself the opportunity to explore further. =)
