At 6am on the Sunday which juz passed, I dragged myself out of bed...cos Im supporting my dad and team mates for the grueling canoeing marathon 2008 at Marina Reservoir.

Around 12plus, all our boats came back while the rest of us were still in the midst of our long weights training session. We have attained the top 3 positions in the Masters womens' category, 3rd for Masters mens' category (woohoo..my dad!!), top 2 positions in the T2 Seniors' category, followed by Jen (A first time competitor in canoeing event) who got the 2nd position in the T1 category! And cheerios to everyone who completed the race!

Yeah I got to drive one of my team mate's car after trg dis afternoon haha..A manual Lancer haa. Super cheap thrill! The drive was from new SDBA to Leisure Park. And I heng heng managed to park nicely into a lot. haa..but of cos, it's those kind of lot with no other car beside =)if not, think i'll have cold sweat! hah..

Some of my team mates and my dad participated in the Canoeing Marathon organized by SCF this morning, completing a distance of 29km (for the seniors' category) while the masters category had to do 22km. And I officially appointed myself as their photographer =)Photos will be uploaded soon! Congrats to all who haf successfully completed the marathon!

The rest of us had a super long trg session. At 9am, there were only JS and myself. haha..but gradually, more came to join us!Only at 1.18pm dat i completed my weights.

Yeah I finally fulfiled the last item on my wishlist. That is to get my driving licence. I was quite lucky, really...that I met a kind tester =) I got borderline pass haha 18 points.

The queue to apply for my licence was freaking long..that I missed almost the whole of my lesson. But no choice haha..cos I passed. ( yeah!)

Had the impulse to go into the Honda showroom beside the Ubi Driving Center after I passed.

Driving licence in 2 more weeks!

My boy and I had Sakae for dinner this evening. And all we ordered were the $1.99 plates. =)

And a new discovery! A total of 12 plates is juz nice to occupy the space between the table and the ledge below the sushi belt. heh. And our table had the mouse which is of the mould of a frog, sakae's business icon. Other tables had the black coloured mouse. *cheap thrill*

2007 happened in a glance, so fast ..

Hope 2008 will be a great and better one for every one. =)

Finally completed my 5 day course for DB level one coaching technical certification. The coach, Fred, was the former Canadian National team coach. It was a good experience with an exchange of ideas =) My weekend had been a burning one..*tired* Thank goodness Monday is my free day. *phew*
