Been wanting to put up the poster dat was designed as publicity for the national trials. It's a snapshot of both the guys' and girls' team in 2005 ( before the SEA Games). Some of the ppl commented " huh..datz really u ah? U look different!" haa.. yah I cant believe dat was me den too. Trained till so big..=( And no time to cut hair..datz why I had an ugly hairstyle.

Heard the running timings of the NJ girls and my team mates from last weekend's trials. I dun tink I can be as good ..sigh. Some of them are clocking 7plus min for 5 rounds. I'll be glad if I can even reach 9plus. argh.

haha maybe can find one day when we have a super hard training den go whack. But hor ..i tink we wont be able to eat as much as $19.90, especially if it's at night. So i tink the winner will still be the restaurant.

One day my classmate started saying this to me. " eh ur world is too much related to dragonboat. Your dad does db, ur bf also does db, ur closest frens are from db too." ha but i seriously dunno what to say bout this.

Saw an article reported on Straits Times 07 April 2008. It was on the 4th page of the headlines. The article wrote : dragonboat national team struggles to rebuild. Along with a photo of 4 of our guys in a unfilled small boat. I believe our guys din want their picture or the report to be updated in this manner. But the press has potrayed the team is q a "pathetic" state which is not the case.

I dun tink we're struggling to rebuild. The break of 4 mths was due to plans to reconstruct the team, not due to ppl who are "afraid of touching the water" again.

It feels like the Singapore Press is trying to create some juicy news here...and it's our local Straits Times reporting bout our local sports teams. Personally, it is disappointing.
