After much research on hotel buffets, mum rejected the idea of having buffets *bleah* So we went to a cafe instead cos mum wanted to have beef.

Looking for some place near to our house, i suggested The Bliss Cafe at Punggol Park. The place is usually crowded but thinking dat it's a weekday, it shld be ok not making reservations.

At the cafe, we got a 4 seater table at the outdoors, but mum started complaining of mosquitoes. Made our orders after which. Dad brought a bottle of red wine. When we asked whether we cld open our own wine, the service staff replied us saying it was impossible. But after asking her manager, she replied that we have to pay a corkage of $25. ( Alright so the stuff seems new) But paying $25 is almost equivalent to getting a bottle of wine.

After a while, one of the 6 seater table was empty, so mum requested to shift over to the table. But another of the staff insisted that it was meant for a 6 seater and it had been reserved so we cant shift over. Then proceeded to put on the "Reserved" tag on the table.

The next moment, bro asked to switch on the lightings on the celiling. But the staff replied that the lights were spoilt (duh ...) In the end, they offered to shift us to the 6-seater. But since we've already started eating and being petty, mum decided not to shift.

Oh well..and food itself wasnt like "wah wah" ..very normal I would say. Their jug was Fosters , going at $18.50. And their staff were always looking at our tables, trying to spot "finished" plates. But it did give us a weird tinge ..like they keep staring?

All and all, I'll probably fail them for their service level. (Until we left, the "reserved" table was still empty..duh..)
